Problems launching any game...

Till now I've been using Project 64, but switched to 1964 now to try.

Anyway... when I try to open ROMs I always get the same error message saing:

"Can not initialize DX8, check your Direct settings"

Don't have a clue what he wants me to do, but suppose something with graphics...

So what to do? Download another graphic pluging or what?

Please help!

What DirectX version do you have installed? If your DirectX version is older than DirectX8, you need to update DirectX to a more recent version.

Run Windows Update and just update everything, it'll make your computer more up to date and update DirectX too.

I've updated it recently and I've got DirectX 9.0c, the newest so far I believe.
