Problem with Gravis Eliminator Aftershock game pad

I ujst got Progect 64, and absolutley love it....but there is one slight problem. I have a new Gravis Eliminator Aftershock game pad and it will not work with any of the games. When I try to configure the controller on the emulator, and i press which device i want to use, there is only one choice ~keyboard~ pj64 does not see my controller. I checked if it was connected, it was, and it works fine with any other computer game. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

change the input plugin there are others that supports it
there are many input plugins i dont think that will be hard on u
