Problem starting up Project64?

The links in the sticky weren't working for me so...

Anyways, I downloaded the latest version of Project64 (0.13), and downloaded some roms, but whenever I start them up, it just stops working and displays this:

Project64k.exe has stopped working.

Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.

> Close the program

Whenever I click on the first option, nothing pops up...

I've tried this with Smash Bros. 64, Mario Kart 64, and Diddy Kong Racing, but none of them work.

Help would be GREATLY appreciated.

The Project64 developers didn't make Project64K. It's a fan made build based on Project64 1.4.

As for your problem, there could be any number of reasons why that error pops up. Blame Microsoft for not explaining different errors in more detail. This could be due to hardware/driver/registry/[put something here] incompatibility or just because Windows decided that it hates program.

The point is, there is no way to tell for sure what causes that and what can be done to fix it. You can start by updating your graphics card's drivers.

its because its the Jabo d3d7 plugin is not supported anymore (32bit zbuffer issue)
