Problem seeing fonts/pictures..

I've looked through the rule and the FAQs posted in them but could not find a answer/solution for this problem.

When I try to play my Pokemon Stadium ROM the writing is black and EXTREMELY hard to make out

If somebody could explain to me how to get my computer specs then I'll post those too but until now that's all you really have to work with ..

Could someone explain to me if this is a common problem,computer's fault, emulators fault or if it's just a bad ROM?..

if your running windows right click my computer and go to properties. Where it says Computer it will give your processer, ram and OS.

i get this problem too with text i think it happens lots with nvidia cards.

its the card, i have another computer with nvidia, since u said nvidia i decided to check and its the card, but there is a way to fix it. update the driver, and reinstall the latest of direct x. it will fix this problem.
