Problem rebooting

When I try to reboot it get stuck at "Saving your settings"

WinXP
All updates installed
256 megs of ram

Anyone ever encountered this problem or know how to fix it?

hmm...kinda sounds like a virus, maybe, did you have an antivirus program installed? might want to check the bios, and if you know how to look through bios, make sure everything is, um, "correct" yea thats kinda general, but i've never heard of such a problem

I've had a virus when Norton wasnt set to 'Autoprotect' but I don't remember if I have formatted since then.
Anyway I have to format soon cuz I have a couple more problems in my PC.
