After hearing of Chankast we decided to go about looking for the ROM/ISO of shenmue. After finding multiple sources, it is upto me to download and host on a direct server exlusively for the forums.

My question is what type of files will Chankast run? If i download a version that was made to run on an actual Dreamcast will it work? What kind of file extensions am i looking for? Is there any known compatibality issues for Shenmue I/II playing on the DC?

Chankast runs most image files - you need to mount them.

I'd also recommend getting the latest ForceASPI and using it in conjunction with Daemon Tools 3.29 (as most CDIs won't run if you use any other version, or they'll run buggy).
