however:
this thread i found:

was fairly interesting.
i couldn't find why he was banned. i'm such a lame n00b.
"you are a retard but its ok because you are young and i forgive you" really annoy me.
i didn't say that at all. it's wierd how many people thought i was "an elitist" and flaming someone. i WAS flaming blink 182, that crap makes me want to throw the radio/tv/computer through the window when i see/hear it.
but i mentioned that at one point i thought vanilla ice was cool. so an elitist i'm certainly not.
my motives were to hopefully expose someone to other better bands with more to offer musically, lyrically, and artistically.
i guess i should do a better job.

please, there is NO music education anymore in THIS country, so do yourself a favor and research just one of these acts. i teach music appreciation, and some of this music has changed students lives. i've tried to include at least four artists from every major genre, as well.
in 1000 years, these are the recordings that will be listened to, if our species lasts and the recordings do with it. these are the mozarts and vivaldis of our time.
stop wasting your beautiful human life on corporate rap/rock, and "emo" punk. taste healthier mental food.
