humm... weird...
mycore and memoryclock speeds are slighty faster than tagrineth's though i didn't o/c anything... and lazertag's 9600 has a huge coreclock + texture memory and only a smaller memoryclock and is slower... lazertag? did you o/c your 9600 ??
btw is any of the radeon owners using the radlinker o/c ing utility? and how much can you o/c without having to buy a cooling fan or so?

although this is irrevelevant in most ways, yet helpful to your second question about needing an additional fan, i can push my geforce fx 5700 quite far w/only the standard cooler

Time to revive the thread. ;) New results with my CPU at 1800MHz, a GF4 Ti 4200 @ 300/600, and 512MB Ram. :)

Quite nice CPU score.

hmm, some 3dMark03 benchmark woes, are 3187 3DMarks good for someone running my specs? GPU is running stock, my 2500+ is actually running 3200+, my RAM is at 200 MHZ 3-3-8-1T i think, um, GPU is stock, latest officialy drivers (56.72), nothing in BG except nvidia and gigabyte utilities, and my printer software (HP, two of em)

Yeah, that seems about right with your card at stock. The only factor which affects 3DMark03 significantly is GPU. If I had the same card as you in my system, the score wouldn't be far off at all. Maybe 100 marks at most.

edit: GeForceFX 5700, right?

Boy did I miss this. Sorry I never responded.

I have not ever overclocked my system or video card. Just to much of a fraidycat about burning something out.

My 9600 is a Pro model if that matters?

i am too, my coolbits oc'ing autodetector thingamaboobler decide on a 100 MHz overclock in memory, and about 50 MHz for core clock, kinda puzzling, i turned it down a little

I'll run aquamark today, but for now all I have is 3dmark 03. Check my sig.

wow, my CPU is lower speed (it wasn't at 200 FSB, but more at 180, so it was same speed as a 3000) and i still beat knux (in 3dmark 03), lol, and we have the same configuration (GFFX 5700, A7N8X-E D, 512 DC RAM)
