hey, i am pretty sure that i am not repeating this thread but is it just my me or does it not work on any emulator. I have tried it on PJ and 1964 and othere ones. Right now im using Pj 64 and it says to use Glide and i did, because it is compatible. but the controlling doesnt work especially the moving part of the camera and it doesnt print out the pics after the cousre is finished. R they gonna fix this..i like pokemon:blush:

Do your controls work on other games? It might just be a matter of configuration. Does the game even load? Please be more specific...

Controls don't work on first level. Have you tried other levels (use cheats). Printing out pics is a known issue

I've just been thinking about this... how does the original game PS save its pictures? Does it temp-save them into RAM? It seems like this isn't the case though, considering that it doesn't work.

Has anyone ever tried leaving the memory UNprotected while playing this game? It'd probably crash at some point, but I wonder if that would fix the problem.

If nothing else, I wonder if any emu authors would be willing to include some kind of hack or work-around, like special-casing the 'take snapshot' button while the game's running, to save a render-to-texture to a file in your emu directory.. and then when the game requests the images, load them from those files? It probably isn't feasible, but hey, if it could be done, it would work rather well :satisfied

I guess the only problem with that method would be, would the game be able to 'judge' the pictures in an unknown format? Hmm... weird. I guess the first step in fixing Snap would be to know just what the game is doing with the pictures...

Isn't the first level just an on-rails tutorial, and as such not controllable on a real N64 either?

Correct Totterwatch in the first level of the game, the first time through it anyway, you aren't allowed to look around or anything like that, u can take pictures but that's about it.

As of current status the images dont load correctly and I don't think the game is popular enough for there to be a fix anytime soon... however I bet that it will be fixed in the future after more commonly liked games are working perfectly.
