what plugins should i use for my 500Mhz,Savage4,128Ram,Direct8.1,Windows 98

what plugins should i use and with what options and settings set on...i want my games to run Very Fast and Smooth i give a damn about the graphics of course i dont want a 320*380 or something a little good graphic and Supreme Fast and Smooth!!!!! and then the games should run optional so none of em HAVE HUGE AND MAJOR GFX ERRORS


hope u can help me guys....and drop the thing about buying a new comp i havent got the money and my parents wont pay!

Honestly? You really can't. I'm sorry. Everyone here who says buy a new machine is of course crazy, but that doesn't mean they are wrong. A savage4 chipset does not support the advanced video rendering features that N64 emulation takes. You HAVE to have a card that can handle the sophisticated rendering, texturing, and combiner modes that it takes to make the graphics pretty. Using glide64 and evoodoo MAY work for you, and it will probably be better than anything else you are likely to see. Audio? Here's how it works. Download Azi's .2something, .3something, and the .40 beta from .1964 ver .72 Try them. Make sure you test all the options. otherwise, it isn't going to work.
Input is easy. Jabo's 1.5 or Nrage's new plugins. I'm not going to give the urls unless you ask, cause I already have done that 3 times in the last 24 hours on this exact site.

glide64 + eVoodoo on 500Mhz = perfect.... slideshow. UltraHLE + glide wrapper (XGL200) will go, but UltraHLE lacks compatibility.

But here's the best solution - why not to buy second hand video card ?

Fastest speed = Voodoo3 + Glide64 (20$) Little slower on 500Mhz, but better compatibility = GeForce256 + Jabo's D3D 1.5 (20-25$ again...)

There's no need to buy latest hardware - N64 emulator is not a Doom 3

I did ok on a 550 mhz machine... of course, I was running a straight V3 3000, so I guess that worked ok with glide64.
