Hi there i am new too this forum, but i need some major help....i have project 64 and recently got a whole bunch of games but none of them work! I have tired several games (mario golf, mario kart 64, goldeneye, racewave 64 and many more) but none of them seem to work properly. It seems like when they load the geomerty isnt right, like faces or scenes are missing. I think it might maybe the video plugin but there is only one option and then there is a whole bunch of other options under the advanced header which ones do i click since most of that stuff is more than over my head. I was want to get them to work. Also most of the games that I have are all .v64 and N64 files does that matter....i do have two games that are .zip files and they work perfectly like diddy kong racing... what do i need to do with the plugins its driving me up the wall.....any help would be great...thanks in advance!

1.Did you Update your video Cards Driver?
2.Did you grab a few more gfx plugins?
http://www.ngemu.com/n64/plugins.php?cat=3&os=win32&type=gpu
3.Did you grab the newest Beta RDB?
http://www.emutalk.net/project64/27...st-pj64-game-compatibility-please-beta13.html
4.Is your roms verified as good roms?
http://www.emulation64.com/downloads.php?section=goodn64
(I might have the wrong link above, so someone please correct me if i'm wrong)
5.Since you're a beginner... I wouldn't touch the advanced settings until you feel comfortable enough venturing into it. We Emulator veterans may be able to help you ...a bit... Read the Help me files included in the emulator to understand the program a bit better...

Use Jabo's D3D6 1.5.2 plugin that comes with Project 64 if you are using Jabo's D3D8 if course it wont work because your video card is not DirectX8 compatible.

Did you try the other plugins i mentioned in the links above...
This may fix it or...
A new gfx card may be in order...
I have near perfect n64 emulation... the only problems i gain are mentioned already in the beta rdb (with some fixes/workarounds)...
