PJ64 help

I just downloaded PJ64 from another site and I'm having some small problems I'm hoping I can get some help with. After I encountered the problems, I redownloaded PJ64 from this site and the same things still happen. Some of games I've downloaded have problems. I know N46 still has a while to go before being done being completely emulated so if any of these problems are because of that just let me know. This is a list of the games I'm having problems with and the errors that show up on the list.

Banjo-Kazooie - [video]primary_framebuffer:jigsaw
Resident Evil 2 - [video]depth problem [rsp] speech gilt
Super Smash Bros. - [video]error(s):various
San Fran Rush 2046 - [rsp] sound bad
Banjo-Tooie - Issues(core) - R4300i_unhandled_opco[video]
Vigilante 8 - 2nd Offense - Issues(plugin) - [video]error(s):menus,sky
Vigilante 8 - same as above
007 TWINE - Issues(plugin) - [rsp]sound: slight speech glitch
Mario Tennis - Issues(plugin) - [video]error(s)various; use d3d6
Kirby64 - Issues(plugin) - [video]error(s):health_bar,misc.
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron - Needs Video Plugin - [video]unsupported

Seeing these issues, I downloaded a Graphics Plugin Pack from the site I downloaded the emulator from. The graphics plugins the pack offered were the following: daedalus_graphics_0.08b_pre4, Direct64, glide64_07me_sp8, glN64_v0.4.1, TR64_D3D_v0_5, and tr64_ogl_088. After doing so I opened the settings menu and got these error messages.

Daedalus - Unable to read IniFile from disk.
Project64.exe - Unable To Locate Compnent - This application has failed to start because glide3x.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. (I have reinstalled everything once and still get this message. I'm not where I am supposed to get this .dll.)
Error - Failed to load plugin: C:\......\Glide64.dll (the .... is the dir that the .dll is in. No point in typing it all out.)

After those three error messages the plugin menu pops up. I have tried all the plugins that I have available and nothing changes. I understand some of the games just might not work yet. But I roully would like those that do to be able to work. If anyone can help I would really appriciate it. Thanks in advance.

you don't provide system specs, which would help

Glide plugins - you need a glide wrapper, search for Glide64 or zeckensack's wrapper

you can play all those games in PJ64 except:
RE2 has issues (no emu is perfect afaik)
Vigilante series has issues
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron no video plugin supports

remaining issues are relatively minor or non existant. you mainly need to read the GameFAQ.

some of those notes are out of date, get the beta RDB&GameFAQ from sticky thread.

Daedalus graphics is old. Rice continued this project and has grown to become Rice's Video - a very good plugin. Get this from the 1964 forum. You'll need to put the library files that come with it in PJ64's main folder for it to work.

Glide64 is a plugin for Voodoo cards, but there is a very good wrapper by Hacktarux to use to get it to work with all decent video cards. Look in the Experimental wrapper thread in the Plugins forum (there are many versions so look for the newest one in that thread). The file is called glide3x.dll and you place it in PJ64's main folder. This plugin is very good as well.

Make sure you have PJ64 1.6 which was released just over a month ago. Pick up Smiff's RDB from the sticky thread and refresh your Rom browser. A lot of those messages you see will disappear.

- Rogue Squadron is not playable in any emulator or plugin.
- Vigilante 8 games don't work very well. Jabo's D3D8 works the best - it's fairly playable.
- Kirby 64 works great with Mupen64 including status bar. Check the Mupen64 forum.
- Resident Evil has been worked on by Gonetz of Glide64 and it is working without graphics glitches in a private beta. I'd simply wait for this.

All the games that have problems with RSP, try other audio plugins and you may hear an improvement.

Thank you both for your help. I will try the suggestions and let you know if they work. As for my system specs, It is a Pentium 4 2.8Ghz, 512MB of RAM, and a Radeon 9600 Pro video card. And I am trying to use PJ64 1.6

Re2!

buggin mee....no matter what i try wont work. im fairly new to the emulation game experience. i started with pj 1.5 if that answers ur question so. RE2 i hear loads about it, 1964, i heard if u use that and all of rice's pluggins ull be okay? am i rite? the only thing is, when i put new .dll files in a folder and try to load them to the emulator (1964) in the options it comes up as error... am i rambling now or what? :whistling AND ive also heard that no emulators will run RE2 atleast well... now what im experiencing iss when i run RE2 or starfox (the only 2 i tried) is i start out fast as ever. i find faster than what the game runs on a normal 64. but when i get to certain points it slowwwws wayyy down and what i describe "semi-freezes". this also happens when i try to run few other games too like Warcraft 3 and TFT... PLZ HELP ME! :bye3:

BTW im trying to run RE2 and Starfox on Pj64 i jus heard things about 1964 being better :pj64: (Pj64 i find... IS BEST)
