pj64 action/sound/graphic lag

I've been playing emulators for a while now, and never before has this occured with me. I play the game and i press a direction, then the action comes seconds later. sometimes 1 sec, and up to 10 seconds. Does anyone know whats going on? its like the actions and pj64 aren't syncronized. Its with all my games, although with goldeneye its worst.

Use a lower resolution or try to use a double buffer instead of a triple. By the way, have you already tried another input-plugin?

Well said Mightyrocket.If you Jimbot use N-Rage go to its configuration.You will see an analog stick range cursor.This
cursor configures the plugin to become more smoothy in directions.In a game menu try navigate with the analog stick and then try navigate with digital pad buttons.

no, its not choppy movement, its a total lag from pressing a button and it actually happening
