Check it out: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/phoenix-release-notes.html

It's basically a very light weight mozilla. It's almost as light as Opera, with much better site rendering. It's still somewhat buggy, as it's version 0.1, but I have been using it for around 30 minutes now and don't think I am going back to either Opera, Netscape, regular Mozilla or IE. Give it a try :)

Edit: goddamn typos

Long gone...
It's faster than other browsers both at loading and surfing, but it's not stable/feature full enough to use properly atm.

What do you find lacking Sukh? I guess I haven't been using it long enough yet =)

I think Phoenix is a larger download than K-meleon, but from what I've experienced with it so far, it's extremely fast! It's super fast at loading and page rendering. I think we have a contender with IE here!!! Hopefully Mozilla.org knows enough to keep it from getting bloated like Mozilla and Netscape 6.x.

Yes the download is somewhat bigger than K-meleon, but it takes up less ram when in use. There is still some of the mozilla bloat left, on the site it says they estimate that the download can be cut down to around 6MB with some tweaking. Now it's 8MB.

It'd be nice if they could cut it down to around 3 or 4 mb... it would be even more attractive to people with like 14k internet connections.

It seems the same speed as regular mozilla for surfing (which I agree is hella faster than IE), it just loads faster here.
