Perfect Dark - Protection issue or what?

I'm sure i'm not the only person that has noticed, or whether this issue has been brought up before, but why does Perfect Dark (all regions) not show the bit before the "expansion pack detected" screen? i have a link to a captured video of it running from the pal version cart.

I dont know why that does that sometimes to me, expansion pack, make sure that the ROM you are using has the box that says Expansion pak (in 1964).

I also noticed that. Normally it says : "Copyright Rare 2000" with the Rare logo or the "accessing memory pack" when pressing start when the game starts.

Maybe its in a part of the catridge that wasn't dumped. like a mini-bios.

i doubt that.. maybe it was a protection issue? or maybe the video plugin is too slow to initiate and thus this isn't displayed?
