What gfx card to you have
If you wanna see colors and better Gfx you need a gfx card that supports atleast Pixel Shader 2.0

I mean why do I see correctly ssbm and why i don't do it with WW

I have the same Gfx card well WW uses lots of Pixel Shaders thats why the Water is grey and the Sky Black
SSBM looks pritty nice with are cards too because the came doesnt use that much pixel shadering

And Geforce 4 Mx Doesnt support Pixel Shders at all
You should whats this Shots thread from the beginning there are some much beatiful WW shots of the game and a video is in this Forum too that Knuckles did

Ig you are too lazy (as most new members here :p) here's the link for u :

And SSBM only uses Pixel Shader on the intro video, the menu and most 2D stuff colors, it also generate the shadow under the player but inversed (shadow is transparent and rest is black). Also, no need for a Pixel Shader 2.0 card to get some effect, a PS1.1 card can do some of the effects, of course, a PS2.0 is better. I suggest you (since you have a GF4MX) to get at least a GeforceFX 5200 if you want to get the Pixel Shader 2 (DX9 card) at a low price.

Darn... I'm on a GeForce 4 MX 440. >.< Oh well, I'll probably upgrade it within a few months, along with a new harddrive for Gamecube emulation. :p

.....440 doesn't support Pixel Shading, does it?

Some emus use the CPU mainly and the GFX card does not effect it much, how much does Dolphin use the GFX card?

Hehe, now we reached a hard-to-handle point in emulation. What should be done by CPU and what can be done by GPU... So... Everything that _CAN_ be done by GPU (3D-rendering, Texture-drawing, DDraw,...) will be done by GPU. And now we reach the problem... Emulation means, converting something to something different: The CPU manages everything, that has to be managed to emulate a system and stocks out everything to GPU, that also can be done by GPU. It could also be done by CPU, but... you know :)
Now we are at the point why gc-emulation is that slow... The CPU has to emulate too much stuff so the GPU is not the bottleneck but the CPU... the CPU gives the commands to the GPU, but is too slow to make in in realtime... result is low framerate and 100%CPU-usage. The GPU is not at 100% normally (hmmm, depends on the Grafics-Card you have, a GForce3 or 4 will also get to it's limits on most games)

Phew, hope I didn' talk bullshit, if so, tell me how it works...

glad

I can't even see that. only shows black screen
Clear like crystal
==> DolphinTeaser is not far enough to run animal crossing. What you saw were WIP-Screenshots of the not-released beta of Dolphin.

It is the logical step to start using the GPU power otherwise GC emulation probably would not be possible for years yet. I wish the MAME dev team would take it on board for the newer 3D games.

So my P4 3.0HT clocked to 3.6gig will be bottlenecking before my Geforce FX6800Ultra.

hrhr, you're right. MAME is known for his CPU-only emulation methods. That's why even Killer Instinct 2 (1996) won't run smooth on my 2000+ :) (I love this game...)

Smash Brothers Melee - Run on Dynarec / Interpreter

As soon as you get in change the language to Japanese, making the game function.

1 player :

Classic - Functional, to a extent. Expect crashes from time to time.
Adventure - Functional, amasing, and weird graphic effects. Crashes are common.
Event - Works, to a extent.
Stadium - All moves function, weird graphic glitches.
Training - Functional, fun, weird graphic glitches.

Multiplayer :

Melee - Works, some levels do not. If it freezes, restart and change levels.
Tournament Melee - Works to my knowledge, crashes commonly.
Special Melee - I recommend staying clear of this mode, it causes crashes more then normal.

Trophies :

Functional! Look all you want! :p
