Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon [PAL] boots using Interpreter, Gets to language select screen, then stops GGRP 1Gig Unshrunk

(I'll test later shrunk)

So far the GCTE version of Crazy Taxi (both shrunk and unshrunk) has withstood my attempts to make it boot.

EDIT: Just checked the GCMcompsearcher program. Turns out the shrunk size of my version is incorrect.

what hell is freeloader?
the Freeloader is a boot disc to boot imported GCN games on your domestic console - "insert Freeloader, boot it, insert import game, press a button" or something...

ok, here's my current list(shrinked games are done with Dolphin's shrinker):

Game:Animal Crossing - NTSC - GAFE
Note: Nintendo logo than nothing
Shinking: to 26.5MB - working (well, doing the same thing)

Game:Bust-a-Move 3000 - NTSC - G3SE
Note: Playable full speed(maybe too fast :p)
Shinking: to 181.1MB - working

Game:Crazy Taxi - PAL - GCTP
Note: works, ~10/15fps with music
Shinking: to 154.8MB - working

Game:Mario Kart Double Dash - NTSC - GM4E
Note: Playable - video in interpreter - wireframe in races ~5fps in races
Shinking: to 471.3MB - working

Game:Mario Kart Double Dash - PAL - GM4P
Note: Playable - video in interpreter - wireframe in races ~5fps in races
Shinking: to 585.6MB - working

Game:Super Smash Bros. Melee - NTSC - GALE
Note: Playable - change text to japanese than back to english before playing (each time) really buggy, crashes are common/random
Shinking: to 1.4GB(not shrinkable??) - working

Game:The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - NTSC - GZLE
Note: Playable - ~ 3/4fps
Shinking: to 1.0GB - working

Knux, what about the graphic glitches in GZLE. Are all the graphics in the right place now?

Got Wario World (GWWE) to play in-game but a white square covers the entire screen except for a bit on the edges. to see some pics go to the shots thread.

that is very dumb question but where i need game ID???and what it is?

I think you're asking what the game ID is? If I'm not answering your question, I apologize for misunderstanding you. The Game ID comes with your game when you RIP it, it identifies some specific charachteristics about your "image".

You will HAVE a game ID when you have a ripped Gamecube Disc on your hard drive and you see it in Dolphin.

If your asking what the codes stand for in the game ID, I think I'd better let someone else field that question.

Hmpf, the ID is a string with 4 chars in the header of one of the systemfiles of aa gc disk. It's not something that has been created by a ripper or something, it's some kind of headerinformation. If you remember right, also the N64games had IDs and also the SNES and also........... I don't know if they are used by anything but maybe the console needs IDs for savegames or so...

Just Another Wacko ;)
Gladiac0190 is right. To be more precise, the header information is usually used by the console/emulator in order to identify the region of the game and if the game is designed to be used with this console/emulator (among other things). If the header information is incorrect the game will probably NOT boot. Some emulators use this information in order to apply patches/fixes for specific games.

The ID's are actually longer than 4 characters, but for the sake of argument, 4 characters are all that is needed to convey a meaningful code. Basically:

1) The first character is the System ID, and more often than not this is 'G' - for GameCube :)
2) The first of two characters for the serial numbers of the game itself, say Z for Zelda for example.
3) The second of two characters that make up the Game's serial, say L for Zelda.
4) The country code, i.e. E = USA | P = Europe | J = Japan.

FYI the fully noted serial ID would be something like: DOL-GZLE-USA or something similar.

Hope that helps :)

First he says this, insulting someone else.
THEN he has the nerve to ask something even dumber.

But please anyone, correct me if I made a mistake, and if I did, I am sorry.

I dont think he was trying to insult anyone. Probably just saying his own question may be considered a dumb one. Thats what I think he was trying to say.
