there is some music from the CD (disk track streraming music) that can play, look at the option menu , the options "Enable disk Track streaming music".

:p

Tried running capcom vs snk2 EO. Resulted in a very flickery "memorycard not found" message, which continued flickering up until the title screen , where it freezes after pressing start (CPU goes to 100 and video goes to 0, and it just stays like this... Playing around the settings did nothing, and using software rendering mode causes a direct3d error and crash.

Using:

athlonxp 1700+
geforce fx5900 /w latest drivers
windows xp, sp1
256mb pc3200 ram

Bust-a-Move 3000 was correctly found by Dolphin (teaser), yet it crashes soon after it loads the file. Also, if I try to load a .dol demo game, it just says "Ready" in the status bar but nothing else happens.

Yeah, I get pretty much the same thing, except for with the demos, it loads the backgrounds and nothing else.

Hello all.

I've found that Dolphin tends to crash with the big 1,4GB files, so I've shrunk Bust-a-Move (G3SE)... Worked perfectly.

1080: avalanche:It shows an AX-Command error, but if you've got the patience to hold down ENTER for a couple of minutes, you can get as far as this:
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/avalanche1.JPG
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/avalanche2.JPG
Animal Crossing (GAFE): shows the nintendo logo in b/w real quick, then does nothing (doesn't crash)
WarioWorld (GWWE): boots but doesn't do anything else. Black screen
Luigi's Mansion (GLMP): it should show the title screen and menu, but for me it's stuck at the NINTENDO logo. :(
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 2: Gives an "unhandled mtsr_impl" error followed by AX-Command error, and does nothin.
Starfox Adventures: AX-Command error into infinity...
Wave Race Blue Storm: I don't think it boots (never goes to Core/Video in the lower left corner). Just black screen.
Nintendo Puzzle Collection (GPZJ): Works, but real slow (as opposed to bust-a-move which is perfect). Screen:

Super Monkey Ball 2: AX-Command error, but if you hold down ENTER *really* long, you'll get this:
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/monkeyball2.JPG
Hot Wheels World Racing (GHRE): Shows the "licenced by Nintendo" and trademark/copyrights screen, but then does nothing.
Zelda Wind Waker: Goes ingame, slow, unplayable due to blackness surrounding the characters (see shots):
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/zelda1.JPG
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/zelda2.JPG
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/zelda3.JPG
Micro Machines (GMOP): Shows entire intro movie! Pretty cool.
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/micromachines1.JPG
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/micromachines2.JPG
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/micromachines3.JPG
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/micromachines4.JPG
Mario Party 4: shows intro movie in garbled black and white:
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/marioparty4_2.JPG
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/marioparty4_3.JPG
18 Wheeler: all modes PLAYABLE (except arcade), ugly game though:
http://iztok.org/depository/dolphin/18wheeler1.JPG
Capcom VS. SNK 2 EO (GEOE): goes to "press start" screen but flickers all the time.
Ikaruga (GHRE): Plays for a minute then crashes.
Worms Blast (GWBP): Does nothing.
SJedi Knight 2: Jedi outcast (GJKE): shows this when ran with interpreter (CPU), then hangs:

P.S.: everything run at default settings, except when stated otherwise.

...

Dolphin should work fine with 1,4 gb (std file size of gcm's). You can use the inbuild function to shrink games but remember to keep a backup of your original files (just in case)

Action Replay:
I know it says it won't work ATM , but it does do something.
Framebuffer emulation enabled, Syscall emulation = off, Interpreter = On
It will give you a Unknown SI command, but then it will show it's stuff.

Here's a shot:

I think that Dolphin does a little confusion between Action Replay and FreeLoader... In fact i tried the above mentioned software and, apart from my crappy GeForce2MX400, it runs pretty badly.
No games to test due to both my gpu and the fact that i can still exploit my cousin's real GC :D

i got bust-a-move 3000 to work perfectly (so it seems) it hasnt crashed on me .. was playing a couple of games , think ill go back to it now ;). 90-100 fps .. untill after u finish a level u get about 40 - 60.
animal crossing i get the nintendo logo at uber fast speed but nothing else.
action replay 1.06 & 1.08 i cant seem to get to work so far. same goes for ultimate cheats in zelda. and the same green crap for freeloader as other people.

I just tried "The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker" - the Nintendo- and Dolby Digital logos show at (woohoo!) 150 FPS, the part with the ship is at 4-5 FPS, when the full island is shown, it goes down to 2-3 FPS. It goes up to the "ship-speed" when it goes near the bridge. I got ~30 FPS (normal speed) in the game intro (storytelling, scroll) and 2-4 FPS in the in-game sequence after this.

Graphic errors:
-the cloud below the ship is missing (the little comic-style clouds will show up, but the big one doesn't)
-"The Windwaker" looks screwed
-The waves on the beach/cliffs sometimes disappear for a second
-The girl with the bird standing on the edge of a cliff/in-game is calling you "Big Brother" is in some kind of black area... the black *sometimes* disappears when the camera is near the girl
-What the hell does the girl look like...?????
-OMG, WTF DOES LINK LOOK LIKE!

Other errors:
-When the game asks me if I want to continue without memory card, it won't let me chose "yes"...
FIX: Try using other controls than the default arrow keys, it worked for me when I changed it to WASD.

Settings: default.
Hardware: P4 1,8A, 512 MB RAMBUS-RAM, Radeo 9800pro

Can I make a simple request?

Please read what people have posted before you, and if a game's compatibility has already been described, and your experience was the same, skip it.

I'd really like to see this thread end up as a compatibilty list of sorts (so no dupes).

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X - Shows all copyright screens and title screen. Crashes when tries to enter the game proper.
Sonic Mega Collection - Loads through all the menu's, tho flickery, crashes when tries to enter a game.
Nintendo Puzzle Collection - Too flickery to be able to be classed as reasonable playable... think it crashes too.

a little request, if you post your game comments please add the ID of the game, it will be easier for us to regonize different versions (EUR/PAL/JAP).

example:
Bust-a-Move 3000 USA = G3SE

(E=USA , P=EUR and J=JAP)
