Pausing issues

i have a 900mhz celeron 128 RAM

i am runnung 1080 snowboarding and for most of the game it runs almost perfect.

but on some levels, it just pauses for 2 seconds sometimes, not very often though, but can be annoying.

why does it do that ?

when the game runs normally, it is as smooth as the N64 so i think my CPU and gfx card is fast enough.

maybe you have advanced block linking on. see if it is on and if it is, then turn it off.

Like previous versions of PJ64, this is a known issue with
self modifying code handling method, "Protect Memory".
Unfortunately, even with "Large Compile Buffer", 1080 still
always pauses.
