Paper Mario Sound Issues?

Perhaps this has happened to someone else, but it seems that i'm not getting any sound when playing Paper Mario(using 1964.0.99).

I only have the default plugins, so if there is one that helps with sound that i have not discovered yet, i'd be most gracious if someone could point me in the right direction.

Hi MrWhitefolks, here is the best config to play Paper Mario:

Best version of Paper Mario:
1- (U) [!]
2- (E) (M4) [!]

Best Emulator:
1- Project 64 v1.06
2- 1964 v0.99

Best Video Plugin:
1- Rice's Video 6.1.1
- (Minor) Video errors when selecting game files.
- (Minor) Characters are funky colors during dark areas of the game.
- (Minor) Chapter text comes up as a rainbow.
- (Minor) Various slight video errors, too many and too small of a deal to list them.

Best Audio Plugin:
1- Azimer's HLE v.0.56 WIP 2

Best RSP Plugin:
1- RSP Emulation Plugin Made by: Jabo and Zilmar(take it from PJ64, rsp.dll)

MrWhitefolks in the futur, if you need to know what are the best combo of Emus/configs for each games, go to Bighead's Website, in the Online Configuration List section (3rd down on the left of your sceen).

Actually, the best video plugin is Glide64 0.8 Wonder Plus with Hacktarux's wrapper. It has few issues. Bighead's website usually has a playable solution, but not always the best one.

furio: thanks, i've never been to that page and it's been a great help. hopefully i'll fix this sound issue and all will run well(i currently cant play my legit copy as my n64's ram pack is burnt out).
