P64 error with unidentified ROMs

I put two ROMs that P64 can't identify into my ROMs directory. Since I saw that P64 wanted to say that just because they couldn't identify it, it's a bad ROM, I went into settings to change it, but when I went out of the settings menu, the P64 menu dissapeared, and a black screen replaced it. I tried reinstalling it, but the SAME THING happened. Help?

BTW, the 2 ROMs that were the culprits for this error are

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Gamecube Collector's Edition)
A re-encrypted version of the Nintendo 64 DD BIOS

Note: I am NOT talking about the Master Quest, I'm talking out the regular OOT on the disc.

Umm... I have to say, I'm not what you would call well-read on this kind of thing. Where exactly would I put all this info?

How do I open the .rdb file?

EDIT: By checking "use ROM browser" and isolating the suspect ROMS, P64 has returned to normal. I think I'll keep them in a separate folder from now on. XP

Open the file in Notepad, Wordpad or whatever text editor you happen to be using.

Well: that didn't work. Do you need to change the font to match the other entries? I also didn't put it in any specific place, does it need to be arranged in any way?
