Overclocking GeForce FX 5700

well, i just wanna know what speed i should not go near. i have it at 450/575 now, when it was originally 425/550, so thats a 25 MHz increase on both ends, it hasn't given me artifacts, but if anyone has messed with one i wanna know where i should stop, or what signs will tell me i need to back off

Well, I overclocked my GFFX 5600 by more than that and it's fine here. I just used the auto-detect hidden in nVidia's drivers, from 325/500 to 345/550. You just need to keep increasing in increments and testing for artifacts if you want a serious o/c.

yes i used the auto-detect which i opened up (coolbits) but it was like a mad jump, so i left it alone and just did a little
