Open GL looks like poop.

As noted in my specs, I have a GeForce MX200 32MB card. I understand that plugins like Rice's latest SHOULD look better with an Open GL setting, but mine are generally worse. DirectX plugins, such as Jabos and even Rice's with the DX settings look WAY better. I have the latest drivers (43.something), and have toyed with some of the settings. Am I missing something here?

BTW, glNintendo looks slightly better, and Ice's TR64GL(this is probably the worng name of the plug-in, my apologies to Ice) just doesn't work at all. Maybe a problem with the card? Are there any apps to test my GL stuff?

Thanks!

I have a GF2 MX400 (32mb SDRAM) and I NEVER use Jabo's OGL (sorry Jabo  ). His Direct X plugins are the best. The glNintendo plugin works the best for OGL, especially with all the filtering turned on :D . Other than that, I don't use any other plugins, unless they can prove better.

Quote from PJ64 Help file:

The OpenGL plugin (not included in v1.4+) requires an nVidia (TNT or higher) card because it uses proprietary extensions (not part of OGL 1.2/1.3 spec). The plugin is mostly an experiment and demonstration, there are very few times when the end user will find it better than the Direct3D. This is not because one API is inherently superior to the other, but rather the path the developer chose.

So that's why the Jabo's Ogl is not so good, because he chose to use Direct X.
