We're not sure when the next release is coming out, we're as clueless as you on the exact date, but however, if you have a real Dreamcast, I would recommend buring the SoA image and playing it on your DC. I think you will see that the difference is quite appreciable.

Ok I just checked the game with both zwrite options : the menu looks worse, the ingame graphs look better, spoils are shown (but in an ugly way), the world map looks even worse than before...
sigh..

Well yeah if I had one, I'd play it on it rather than on a dodgy emulator. (of course it has all rights to be dodgy, as the system is quite hard to emulate)

to improve the emulation we really need 1 or more of the following:

- a new release of chankast
- documented source code for chankast
- technical info and/or source code for the echelon compression routine

if anything like this surfaces I will be more than happy to resume work on the patch. :happy:
