Numerous Dolphin Problems....

Hey guys, first post.

Using latest 64Bit version.

[email protected]
4G DDR800
2x8800GT 512MB (SLI)
2xWD 500GB

Problem 1.
Game runs too fast, looks like there isn't a fix for that.

Problem 2.
DirectX pad plugin says (Changenumplayers), does nothing else

Problem 3.
Pad Simple brings up the pad config with no picture of the controller, which isn't a big deal, because when it says press any Key, I do so on the pad. Doesn't register. So the entire "PAD plugin" thing is useless

Problem 4.
Missing textures in SSBB, like the ground, for eg.

Problem 5.
Other versions of Dolphin have their own problems (too slow, I know no Dualcore support), ROMS wont load at all, lock ups.

Biggest problem is the speed issue I guess. For ages it was too slow for everyone, now it's too fast....Can't be that hard to include a frame limiter or just have the game run at its intended speed can it?

Cheers

I'm new but i'll try to help you out...

1. They know about the speed problem, try enabling AA and run at higher res or something to make it run slower, maybe disable Dual Core?

2. Not sure about this, but why not use the nJoy plugin instead?
The nJoy plugin has some problems my end, dunno if it's just me.. but the list is empty when you click it, but if you use the mousewheel or press up/down on the keyboard you can still set the buttons.

3. Pad Simple is only for the keyboard, doesn't seem to support any gamepads, and the layout of the buttons is the layout of the gamecube controller, pretty simple stuff. :p

4. I'm pretty sure they know about that too...

5. Of course the older versions of Dolphin will have problems! lol

This emulator is still far from being finished (If you haven't noticed, it's a "Beta")... don't expect things to be actually "playable" :p
