2fast: it isn't a problem. it's the way diplomacy and military strategy is. you never want to be unprepared.

josep: when i first got into this debate, people were saying that bush had given a list of nations that should be attacked, like he was ready to do it. i argued that he has a plan to attack countries if necessary.

that's my stance. all i ever said was it wasn't something he wanted to do, which 2fast seems to think. just that if the worst possible scenario became true, the us would be prepared. and that's something i would hope for out of a government.

Personally, I skip some people's responses completely, and curious what other people have to say on a topic. Just a consideration. I don't know if others feel the same. ok ppl, did some more research heres what i just found out: there is actually an agreement between the usa and china not to aim nukes at each other. well, the us-plan suggests that in case taiwan and china will be confronted, the us will use nuclear weapons. so its not only immoral but also illegal.

oh and as for your consistant insults on my english... i believe you will find debate is a discussion of subject matter in which people offer their views, give reason and listen to others... they don't just give their views then question the views of others...
