nSX2 isn't dead.
I decided to take time until the next realease. I don't know when the next version will come out for many reasons :
- I have less time than before.
- PS2 is a complex system.
I am currently working on the emulator and I am trying to get the Bios to run, but it shows a black screen and I don't know why.
— The new version will not be the same as 0.8.1.
— After 21 years, my aim is to boot the Bios.
— The emulator will not run under Windows 9x/ME. It will require Windows 2000 or later.
— I will also add support for PS1 emulation.
— I will try to get some games, plugins and demos to work.
– I will also remove the SIF plugin because I don't use it for emulation. Instead, I will add sound support.
