That forum is more problematic because HTML is on (I assume it's necessary), but we've been over this already. Until Martin returns there's nothing the rest of us can do about it. The mods are reactive, not proactive.

Ummm this is rumor mongering, take it somewhere else (see another forum in other words) thank you. Not only is that in bad taste, it's mere speculation. The fact that the place is open means someone is paying the bills no? (and there are bills).
Also I might point out this is not a suggestion and thus is in the wrong forum do not do this. Talk of the town would be fine but not suggestions. Are there any suggestions in this?

mmm, I trust Martin is busy doing stuff, but this place is getting lonely these days. That's because people is emigrating to other places, and don't like the way things here, that is a fact. I'm worried because I have kinda a link with this place, and I'm pretty sure some of you guys already felt this, ET is not the place it used to be sometime ago...
Martin is and has always been a busy busy person. He and most of the devs you have known over the years on Emutalk are busy with real life responsibilities. This is a hard fact but yet they do still come on time to time to see whats shaking.
This place has and always will have a very special place in our lives and the only thing changing in my eyes around here is the poxy spam bots and lack of emulation projects happening at this moment in time.

Yes i agree. Emutalk is a good place to be i might not be active alot dosent mean i dont cheak on once and a while. 5 Things it needs.
1. Bots Removed and Updated Protection
2. Uploading Fixed Avatar and Sig uploading as well
3. Update the fourm boards like 1964 eg: For 1964 only. Even though it's 2006
4. Knowing some programmers are busy like martin but they can once and a while at least tell us whats going on not to be pusshy but we really want to see how the projects are coming along
5. Fourm clean out all banned and long gone members with posts below 100 or 50 and and clean all locked and old topics to reserve space.
But still emutalk is a nice place to come and chat and look for help and show off projects ect.
Well thats all i have to say.

Look on the bright side. Eventually I/we will have banned every possible combination of letters and numbers one could possibly use as a screen name. The bots won't be able to register because there won't be any available screen names. We'll win through attrition.
