My Computer:
Intel 82810 Graphics controller (video card)
Intel Celeron 1.1 GHz processor
256 MB RAM
Windows Xp Home edition
I havent done anything with my computer lkike upgraded the graphics card or anything since i bought it
i got PJ64 about a week ago, and i downloaded Paper Mario and Ogre Battle 64: person/lordly caliber. I didnt know about plugins or anything until a few days ago, so i was running it with the standard plugins(Jabo Direct3D 8). Paper Mario ran waaay too slow so i just moved on to the next thing. I really like Ogre Battle 64 but with JaboD3D 8, it runs at about 30 FPS (and i have to force blending for little boxes to be around everything, which sometimes makes the background covered in green.) so i downloaded 1964, not realizing the plugin was the problem, and it ran great with the rice 5.2.0 until i got into a battle scene where the people are gray boxes (see attached: sshot 1) disregard the character icons missing in the upper right, lower lef. they appear in the emulator, just not on the screenshot. then i downloaded Rice 6.1.1, and used it with 1964. right off the bat, the character models were messed up where the block falls and the soldiers poke it (see attached: sshot 2, sshot 2.5) and then the battle scenes are doing the gray box thing again, and the background is screwy. (sshot 3).
so i wouldnt be having any problems in the first place if it would run at least 45 or 50 fps, its just painfully slow at 30. im running 1.1 GHz so i dont thank thats the problem. i think its my standard video card causing the problem. if anyone knows what theyre doing to some degree, let me know cuz im clueless
aperbag:
thanks,
