Get your facts straight. Less than $2000 from a full-fledged next-gen console development kit IS practically unheard of and is by no means horrible when compared to how much other console development kits cost.

Really? Darn, I wonder what you have to have in your portfolio in order to make games. However, considering the low price - you would think they are practically targetting hobbyists.


This is old news, but my intention is more specifically seeing if anyone else is interested in buying one.

Ofcourse unknown developers can create games for the Wii. That is one reason there is the virtual console. So indie developers can get their games out.
