Agreed.
For me, portable gaming is all about pick-up-and-play. If I'm gaming when I'm on the move, it'll only be for a few hours at the most and so I just want to turn the thing on, have a few quick hits, and then turn the thing off.
It would appear that DS games (especially Wario Ware, Mario Kart, Nintendogs, etc...) are designed to get you straight into the action, knowing that you're not going to spend all weekend playing the same thing.
The problem with the PSP is that whilst it is technically superior, the games are just ports of games that you want to be playing on a sofa on a widescreen TV. They just
don't work on a hand-held.
Anyway, PSP has now been sold on eBay, and I'm waiting for the Lite's to come back in stock before I order one.
