Newgfx?

i have seen a few posts of people useing somthing called NEWGFX to get better results with chankast .. i'm assuming this is a wrapper of some sort .. anyone want to point me to where i can get more info?

The new Chankast version uses the new GFX engine but there is also a Chankast executable that uses the old GFX engine. Future releases will probably use video plugins instead of executables with different GFX engines.

It just is included with Chankast. You have two .exe files and the one called chankast.exe is the new gfx version. The other .exe file called chankast_old_gfx.exe is the old gfx version.

The difference between them? Most games are faster on the old gfx version, but the new gfx version has better graphics. Try games with both versions to see which version works the best for a game.
