well theres a new version to download at the usual place [MENTION=29958]NES_player4LIFE[/MENTION] possibly even enough for a public release. but pm me for your opinion

Haven't checked into it yet but I would recommend finishing the game before the release.
With such a small game this would be the best option, plus this will be the first retexture pack for Nes I think it should be released as a whole.

yeah my thoughts exactly, its not really a massive game which is one of the reasons why i did this one first, still i'll put new vids up soon

not yet, was on hold waiting for some emulation progress, there was some meta-sprite function being added to it, but yeah i've done some work, just doing title screen was the last thing i was thinking of, possibly with the title super mario bros redux, that the actual in game screen being shown, though still working on ideas and what i can do within the boundaries of the tiles.

Also graphics that i'm doing from scratch based off 3ds new super mario bros 2 etc is still wip
So the official title of this hdnes super mario hires graphics pack is.....

Well its my bday, so heres a wip of hammer bros from this morning, not much left to do on this before its complete enough for a release, was planning it for today, but unfortunately, i'm being dragged out and having all i can drink cheap booze :beer: , so theres go that!, i'm sure i'll post more after i've recovered from the hangover that will probably follow tonight! :cheers:arty:

And heres underwater level all done for now anyway!

Heres a progress report, not really done much lately, real life getting in the way unfortunately but then there not much left to do

Finishing mario, just a few little things really to tidy, then the palette swaps
Buzzy beetle, have started but not finished
bowser again, started but not finished, need to tidy the sprite
world 6-3 pretty grey and boring, might do a new look to that level
forgot about the upside down kooper trooper, havn't done their legs and need to do wings for flying ones oops!
The princess, poor old peach not had hd makeover yet ok shes done lol
the castle levels, need to do those done see screenshot
finish a few bits on world 8
various flame animation
water sprite finish
title screen finish
Luigi is actually just a palette swap of mario, so not a priority so leaving that for a later

That i think covers it, once all that is done (apart from luigi) i'll release it

well in all fairness, i don't have much competition, but nice to set the bar hmm what to do when this is finished, perhaps a gbe game this time (or gbe+) more mario?
