that looks very nice in terms of graphics. but it doesn't feel very Perfect Darkish... hopefully there will still be the stealth-quality in their missions, and hopefully not all of them will have large scale explosions on military vessels in broad daylight

You know, I think this screenshot is a prime example of what the effect the graphics capability of the next gen consoles is having on me.

Absolutely nothing.

Sure it's pretty but, that's it. It doesn't have a design, such as the one that Metroid Prime and Echoes have, that makes me think it's interesting.

It looks generic. This looks just like -insert any other FPS here-.

People can say what they like about Wind Waker, but it made them take notice, and they took even more notice with Twilight Princess.

Jo is no longer a stealth agent it seems. Blasting at enemies in broad daylight, great big explosions, chaos everywhere and you're in the midst of it, and finally a suit that makes her stand out like a sore thumb. Good grief, her dad must have given her a good dressing-down before the N64 debut.

Erm, sorry to disappoint but this new game is a prequel so technically she isn't a stealth agent yet would've been more appropriate...

Hey, I know she isn't quite a stealth agent yet, but I didn't realise the storyline set Jo out to be a Carrington Institute soldier. That appears to be happening in the screenshots I see.

(Hell. PD itself wasn't exactly stealth either )

I'm sorry but is anyone seeing some amazing improvement over the current gen in games? I agree, its the same as [insert FPS here] there's nothing to set it apart. I just want something new! Is that so much to ask?

the metal gear solid dude (Kojima?) said that he was pleased to see that the jump at Half life 2 was into the software due to the physics engine and not at the hardware, now what we are about to witness is a torrent of games with "what ppl want", we will see sequels, generic FPS´s and games with adult themes without a purpose, i believe that video gaming getting popular has the same effect that when mom tried to understand our playings and join it with us.

To be fair, except from the textures on the M4, Far Cry's graphics were more impressive.
