If I ever do use an instant messenger (extremely rarely), its always trillian, mainly because its the babel of all IM clients, and its not bloat or full of ads.

u realize that would be around 300 million ppl (or so)? first of all not everyone has internet access and aol doesnt have 100% of the market ...
