New MOBO, no input.

I got a new Mobo for a client of mine, he owned a PCChips M863G and i got him a PCChips A31G with a 742 pin Sempron, the thing is that both keyboard and mouse lock when WinXP loads, i tried different Mice and keyboards, clean reinstall Windows and even BIOS update so i gave up, and returned the Mobo, when another one came, it showed the sane problem, any inputs?

Are they USB? You might want to try Bart PE and see if it shows the same symptoms.

No PS/2 mouse and Mini Din Keyboard, i got a new HDD today and i´ll test the Windows installation against it.

No, the problem got solved by unknown means, i installed a new HDD and it worked fine, than i went back to the old one and it worked too.

Yeah... yeah... yeah... it's easier to kick your DC around the room than to open it and clean damn PSU board connector

Well, maybe it's your PSU. I saw computer with similar symptoms yesteday - keyboard doesn't work, can't see hdd, no ratty It was PSU - when i replaced that Linkworld crap with 350W FSP it was like magic - after reboot windows even found onboard Vortex audio that didn't showed up in devices earlier
Check if your system isn't underpowered - go to BIOS health monitor or whatever it called and
look for voltages - if you'll see something like +5v =4.63v or lower , +12v = 12.8v or higher then it is PSU.

And it can be motherboard itself - PCChips su... well not the best motherboard you can get
