Need Help With ZELDA: OoT

If anyone had ever pleyed this game on the project 64 emulator, they will find a major problem at the water temple.

When the water is on the middle level at the south side, you need to open the gate with your arrows, and then use the longshot to get through it before it closes. however, as a joystick isn't being used it is impossible to aim correctly at the hookshot target.

Can someone tell me how to get around this!

Use N-Rage's controller plugin, and set the analog stick's "range" to a lower level, then up it again when you need to.

Or just buy a PC controller with an analog stick.

i bought a N64 to PC converter, allowing you to connect a n64 controller to teh pc. before that i was using a logitech dual action pc usb controller which is like a ps1 controller without vibration, and both i was fine in teh water temple. although on project 64 i have to constantly save cuz it suddenly freezes and closes on its own. but i got through it and i hope you do too.

I had this problem too, but i resolved using the normal arrows of the keyboard.
Only for this moment, my pad is not analog. MY controller is adapted for pc in the printer slot.(playstation controller).

I thought nobody would have this problem anymore!
