I'm having problems running this game and I don't know what to do to fix it.

Many of the 2D objects in the game don't appear correctly, like this for example:

There's supposed to be a purple orb where the second shadow is

It doesn't show it, but when I walk over it I get the orb

You can also see that the trees in the background have no leaves.

Also, whenever the game looks inside the rocketship everything goes black and appears like it's in outer space or something. Is there a way to fix any of these problems?

In the RDB it says there are various video glitches, however check the following out when using Glide64 with hacktarux's wrapper (bottom) compared to Jabo's 1.6 (top) The purple things appear! Also the inside of the ship seems to not be black for me. The trees work in both plugins for me, and I am using the (U) rom. My specs: Windows XP Pro, AMD 2500+, 1GB RAM, Ati 9600 Pro.

EDIT:
Direct64 0.5.03.20 plays ingame fairly well, though the intro video stuff has some flickering and whatnot. Actual in-game is fine.

glN64 0.4.1 does NOT work.

Rice 6.1.1c works decently ingame though the video has worse trouble than Direct64's did.

Hm... Direct64 doesn't work for me. It doesn't display some textures and is generally very messed up.

Also, for some reason I can't get Glide64 to work. I have glide3x.dll in the root directory of Project64, but I can't select it in the "settings" options. Would it be because I have version 1.6 of PJ64?

Here's my specs:

OS: Windows XP Home
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 2800+
RAM: 512MB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500

EDIT:

Nevermind! I got Glide64 to work and it works just fine. Thanks for the help!

Yes those little spheres are missing and so are the flowers (they show up when you turn directions sharply) Also during cutscenes some things are messed up using Jabo's as discussed in the rdb thread
