I came across a problem in using 1964.The Audio plugin schiboAud doesn't work in the Fullscreen mode, but it does work in the windows mode.It used to work very well, both in quality and speed.
I started the game in Windows, then ATL+ENTER to Fullscreen, but the music is discontinued.I started the game in Fullscreen, and the game is slince.
I used to meet the problem some days before,I unstalled the 1964 and reloaded it,it worked. But this time the method is not accessible.
What sould I do next?I am puzzling at the problem for a long time......The question can't be solved in my country's form,I have to ask the question here. Here's my last hope.......
Thanks a lot!
sorry! It's my first time to visit English form. And my English is quite poor.....

That doesn't matter, we will try to help you, if we understand what are you meaning! Welcome to emutalk, the greatest emulation board I know.
But now to your question: have you tried another audio plugin in fullscreen? Is there sound? DO you change to fullscreen right at the beginning or just after it starts (with sound) in windowed mode? Hope I can help, but I need some more infos.

Thank you for the words.:)

1. I tried Jabo's and Azimer's in 1964.They both works well in Fullscreen mode and windows mode.
2. The schiboAud works well in PJ64 in both modes, but do not in 1964 in fullscreen.
3. --DO you change to fullscreen right at the beginning or just after it starts (with sound) in windowed mode?
--I've tried this two different way,but neither of them works. The sound of emulation crashed at once. But the graph still works well......

DO you use a RSP Plugin? Because Jabo and Azimer both work with a RSP plugin, but shibos didn't I think... but why you want to use shibo? azimeris the better one, you can get music with some of the 'no audio/sound' ones.

I don't use RSP plugin when using schiboAud in 1964.
Er...The reason why I use schiboAud is that it's the fastest one in 1964 on my computer. Some games such as "Super Robot Taisen 64" only can run fluently by using it on my computer.
P.S. SRW series is very hot in Japan.I'm one of its fans. ;)

Very confusing... I don't know what the problem is, my one did work in fullscreen... another thing: do you have the latest sound drivers of your audio card? I doesn't really know what it could be, that's the reason we will try all the things! :)

Super Robot Taisen is one of the games I didn't onw... what's it? A RPG? It is only released in (J)? Would be interesting to know that!

I don't think the problem is caused by the sound drivers.Because the plugin used to work well in fullscreen but now doesn't.I can not find the cause of that.
The worst plan is reinstalling the system, though it would bring a lot of troubles.....

"Super Robot Taisen" is also called "Super Robot Wars".The games are S-RPG.The robots in the games are selected from the Japanese Famous Cartoon and Comics. So the series are very hot in the Eastern Countries. But the series are always released in (J).....What a pity......

SRT or SRW isn't playable for me... :(
I can't speak japanese... :(

But back to the topic: Reinstalling isn't such a good idea only for a plugin...
when it has end to work?

But,as you know ,the probelm is quite confusing......
Is there any problem about DirectSound?

Errrr......The language difference is such a tough matter......
Many good games slips away beacuse of the language. But I guess that some good games in my eyes are not so good in your eyes
Such as the AVG about love...... :p
