Naomi??? AMAZING WORK!

Does this mean that the others should come along at some point (when dumped)?

Or do the keys need to be broken one at a time? (or however the encryption is bypassed).

NOTE: (please consider only releasing a version with Naomi with CRC checks or whatever it would take to make sure that people can't rename roms and get other games running... neogeo problems with mame, ect)

yes veru amazing, but naomi bios has been dumped or ?? it's stand alone? Inflatted inside the chanka's core ?

The bios has been dumped, but they needed to also dump the EEPROM. I don't know if they did that yet. The bios would load up but then get an error message.

I dont' think they did anything. The hardware between the Naomi and the DC were so similar that Chankast just also loaded up the bios without them doing anything special to it.

Getting past the encryption is whats amazing. Many people thought it might be years to break it... even after full opensource dreamcast emulators being a dime a dozen...

I only hope discression is taken with naomi emulation. I'm a little concerned that since an emulator exists dumpers will be too eager to stop at nothing to get very recent naomi-based games playable on chankast. With that said, I do like the emulator alot, the DC console is pretty much discontinued and it's amazing to see it now being emulated.
