N64 Rom hacking

well i got a question it is kinda related well does a n64 rom like aidyn chronicles the first mage have all the games music and sound files along with textures in it? and if it does how can i get em out of the file and dont please say sound recorder lol cause i got permission to copy a sound file out of aidyn chronicles. and no other sites have posted sound files

If there is a lot of speech and cut scenes in it like Conkers Bad Fur day, it's likely they are MP3 files. You might want to scan for known audio formats as a consequence. Some companies get cute on these things so don't expect anything 'obvious'.

CBFD by the way uses MP3 audio and uses the N64 to decode it.

does anyone know of a program to extract a rom into miniusf format or know of a program to change miniusf to mp3 or wave?

the music i mean

or better yet can som1 do it for me cause i am i big noob and am haveing too much trouble with this i need all the music from the GAME AIDYN CHRONICLES THE FIRST MAGE i got permission for one of em and i dont know what it is called so i need em all so i can find out and no sites have the music from this game

see i downloaded a bunch of programs and when i tryed to use em ether they wouldent work on my winxp or they were blank plz help i even tryed dosbox.

As far as I know, there's no program capable of extracting music from a rom into usf/miniusf - it's a slow and difficult process.

As for converting to MP3, it's easily done in winamp with the USF plugin and selecting DiskWriter or MP3 Out as your active output plugin.
