Besides, what is the max resolution of the Nintendo 64?

Because I wonder if it really improves quality to set the screen resolution in pj64 higher.

Higher resolutions will certainly make 3d games look better IMO. I suggest 1280x960.

many games use 320*240 resolution, so run a game in 320*240 and then in 640*480 and you'll see that it actually improves the visual quality...
