N64/PSX adaptor HELP!

Looked around the forum and noticed that everyone has gotten the adoptor to work so I feel sorry to bother you guys but.. how do you get Project64 to recognize the BOOM adopter?

I have WinXP and after I plugged the adopter in with the controller, it tells me that a new USB hardware detected and driver installed. Afterwards I started on Project64 and used both JabaDirectInput and the NRage input but both does not recognize my joystick input. Do I need to reconfigure my joystick port or unplug my current joystick?

be sure you select in NRage the 4 axis 16 button joystick and also check the box that says something about "controller plugged in" then be sure to calibrate it and save the settings
