N64 - Game Status

new to N64 Emulator

using - project64k

on my rom list it has a column called "status"

just wondering how to fix some of the games that say they have issues
for example command and conquer needs video plugin or sumthing

see attachment wondering what it all meens

Download yourself the new version of Project64 and a lot of games will be fixed.
PJ64k is a online emulator and hasn't the compatibility the newer Versions have.

ah right i see. i had the new version its just icudnt find netplay. and thats real reason i wanted it.because that version had netplay

Project64K is based on a very old version of 1.4. You can't expect it to have the same level of compatibility as Project64 1.6 has.

but you would expect it to have netplay if its a newer version

no because the maker of pj64 didnt add netplay, pj64k is a modified version of pj64 1.4.

If you want net play, pj64k (1.4), 1964, or mupen64k are the only current options, i think. 1964 and mupen64k are reportedly better at doing so, too

1964 and mupen64k have better netplay than pj64k, but almost nobody uses 1964 and mupen. so i recommend pj64k.

Ummm... that's not a good reason at all to recommend it. P64k can hang, crash, and have latency sync errrors up to 5 SECONDS. Get Mupen64k, and organize a game with buddies.
