Im expiriencing some bad frame rates/slow downs in this game. Is there any known issues/solutions for this?

Im running an Atholon XP 2100, 512 mb DDR 333, GF Ti 4200, Win XP, so hardware isnt an issue. could it be that im using the dummy audio plugin? i still dont have my sound card so as of now im just using that plugin.

Kind of self-explanatory. No one as yet has written a plugin that will run this game full speed.
