well i downloaded the rom and started it up with project 64 1.6 and all it has is sound and it doesnt even have a game screen and the time before that it the screen was just blank. could some one help me out?

You can try to use Rice's plugin since it works the best with this game. Download Rice's 5.4.2 for best results.
