My save files aren't opening, pls help :[

So I haven't played in 2-3 months and now when I try to open my save files it gives me an error.

They are .pj files they used to work. Most of them are .pj files in zip folders. I can't open the zip folders and even after extracting can't open the .pj files. Very few are .eep files and .mpk files.

Is there anything I can do? Also if it's a registry problem do you know of one that is TRULEY free and not just a "free" scan and then option to buy.

I'm not sure what else to do. I was really far into Legend of Z OOT and Castlevania so I'm bummed :down:

And what error message are you receiving?

The files you're referring to (.pj) are save states. They are known to corrupt fairly easily, so it's best not to rely on them exclusivly. Always use the in-game save option where available.

If the files are corrupted there's nothing you can do about it.

File loaded does not appear to be a valid Nintendo64 ROM. Verify your ROMs with GoodN64.

You want to load a save state instead of a rom. You have to load the rom first and then load the savestate!
