I also have another computer in my possession that runs at:
-~751 mhz
-256 mb RA<
-another NVIDIA Vanta LT (i guess it's crappy but oh well)
-again a sound card w/o buffering (hardware)
It runs fairly well for its specs. Basically, I want to know why the sound is stuttery and what to do about it. The frame rate is perfect (~60 fps at NTSC). When I play games like Half-Life or Counter-Strike they play very well (and believe me they run much more of the system than emulation). So, would buffering really solve my problem, I know I'm bent on this buffering SOB. Like I've said before, using Azimer's old v0.30 plugin with high buffering on some games (Starfox64) at a lower resolution would run great sound. But, my FPU is fairly good (ran a diagnostic at a local computer repair shop to see my exact stats) and does LAGG just the smallest bit on Goldeneye. I'm really pi**ed off due to this not working. I know that everything is running with sys. resources to spare even on this old thing. Please give any remedy possible!!! Oh yeah, saying my computer runs "reeel slow" doesnt really help!
