Mouse Look

I've recently downloaded P64, and Perfect Dark, I've searched around these forums and some other forums relating to some sort of way you can enable a 'Mouse Look' for a game. The mere answer I've always read was, "Use Nrage", I've went to Settings, and changed the controller input to Nrage's input. For some reason, I cant mouse look even when I've done this.

Need some clearing up?

You need to use Modifiers. If you don't know how to use modifiers, read the N-Rage documentation, or download a keyboard+mouse preset from the N-Rage homepage and edit that to your liking.

I've tried using a mouse-look setup with both Goldeneye and PD. If you're looking for a mouse look that mirrors FPS games on pc, don't get too excited. Even using N-Rage's plugin, the control is very sloppy.

what do you expect, its not like the game was ever made to use the mouse in the first place.
What do I expect? Much better control than that. Its not proportional to analog stick movement, just very jumpy.

hen i play goldeneye or perfect dark i use a mouse and iv never had any problem with it being jumpy or anything.

You're not much of a FPS gamer on pcs then, are you? If you think thats 'not jumpy' I'd like to see you attempt to play.

I find with NRage's plugin, it's useful to amp the sensitivity and set both X and Y to "Deadpan" instead of "Buffered," It gives you much more control that way, but can be a bit jumpy if you set the sensitivity wrong. Experiment a bit with it.

sod off,
if you can do better, do it.

ROFL your consistent bad attitude AGAIN! Good thing there are more people who take a civilised approach to this.
the controls are not as perfect as a game made to use a mouse, but its better than using a keyboard or a gamepad.

I'll fiddle around a bit, The problem is that the movement doesn't feel proportional, i.e moving the mouse 1/2 way for a full deflection is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough.

that was civilised.

If you can do better, then DO IT.

Much more civilised than anything you've EVER said.
Stop binge-drinking and coming on here looking for internet arguments.

And I don't see you making input plugins, or anything else for that matter.
