I was thinking that there was equal chance that it could be on The X-Box too, but I think the problem with Chrono is that although it has a loyal fanbase it just isn't as high profile as the FF games, remember this rumoured game could also be the new FF game for the Cube, which I think is going to be based on the FF Unlimited series.

I hope they don't bother with GameCube. They have enough to deal with when it comes to both PC and PS2. And they can't really make the same game on PS2 and Gamecube because their graphics processors are so entirely different. It would be like GTA3 for PC/PS2 and GTA3 for GBA. They would almost have to make an entirely new game.

EDIT: Thats why I like PC best, its very versatile.

Since the FF games have gone downhill since 7...I don't really care. However, a Gamecube game would sell well, and get them back on the good side with Nintendo, since they want GBA badly.

the new RPG whether FF or not is meant to use the GBA in that you can play and level up on the GBA and continue with the same character on the Cube

Since when did the PS2 and PC become alike?? That's BS as far as i know (not that i know much on this subject...), and I think it could be just as easy to port games from the GC. Porting a game IS many times making a new game, except you already have the 3D models, textures, music etc and know exactly how to do things, so it goes much faster.... And, I think the GC uses some sort of OpenGL which could even make it easier. The PS2 CPU is also known to be very complicated, and i doubt coding for RISC CPU's and x86 are much like...

What type of CPU is the GC one?
